Any of the following fail to light: headlight, high beam indicator light, taillight, license plate light, auxiliary light or meter light.
NOTE:
- Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):

Installing the front brake caliper
1. Install:
Brake caliper "1"
(temporarily)
Copper washers "2"

safe vehicle operation. Refer to "CABLE
ROUTING" on page 2-33.

Assembling the main axle and drive axle
1. Install:
Toothed washer "1"
Circlip "2"
NOTE:
Be sure to install the circlip so that its sharp
edge "a" is facing away from the toothed washer
and gear.
Be sure the circlip ends "b" are positioned at
the axle spline groove "c".

Checking the brake fluid level
1. Stand the vehicle on a level surface.
NOTE:
Place the vehicle on a suitable stand.
Make sure the vehicle is upright.
2. Check:
Brake fluid level
Below the minimum level mark "a" → Add the
recommended brake fluid to the proper level.
