Front wheel
Refer to "FRONT WHEEL" on page 4-6.
2. Check:
Brake disc
Damage/galling Replace.
3. Measure:
Brake disc deflection
Out of specification Correct the
brake disc

Installing the primary drive gear and balancer gears
1. Install:
Balancer driven gear "1"
Lock washer
Balancer drive gear "2"
Primary drive gear
Washer "3"
Balancer driven gear nut
Primary drive gear nut
NOTE:
Align the punch mark "a" in the balancer drive
gear "2" with the punch mark "b" in the balancer
driven gear "1".

Checking the clutch housing
1. Check:
Clutch housing dogs "1"
Damage/pitting/wear
Deburr the clutch
housing dogs or replace the clutch housing.
NOTE:
Pitting on the clutch housing dogs will cause erratic
clutch operation.
