Installing the cylinder head
1. Install:
Cylinder head
NOTE:
Pass the timing chain through the timing chain
cavity.

if necessary.

Place the motorcycle on the sidestand.

When checking and adjusting the drive
chain slack, there should be no weight

1. Check:
Rectifier/regulator output voltage

rectifier/
regulator.
a. Set the engine tachometer to the spark plug
lead.
b. Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
rectifier/regulator coupler as shown.

Installing the fuel hose
1. Install:
Fuel hose
Fuel hose connector cover
CAUTION:When installing the fuel hose, make sure
that
it is securely connected, and that the fuel
hose connector cover is in the correct position,
otherwise the fuel hose will not be properly
installed.
